  • Receive a stable monthly income of at least 2,500 USD for rentiers or 1,000 USD for pensioners. You can also transfer at least 60 000 USD into a bank account in Costa Rica for the living expenses equivalent of 2,500 USD per month for 2 years.
  • Pledge to not work as an employee in the country, as the purpose of this visa is to allow foreigners to reside in the country only.

  5. The Costa Rican consulate in your country of origin validates all the documents submitted by our team;
  6. A visa is issued within a couple of weeks;
  7. You may come to Costa Rica in order to open a bank account as well as choose a property to rent or to purchase so that your family has a legitimate address in the country;
  8. We make the final payments of government fees for your case;
  9. Upon the receipt of our payment, you will receive your residence permit, which is valid for 2 years and renewable as long as you keep meeting the requirements laid out before;
  10. Additionally, in order to maintain your status, you must not be away from the country for more than 6 consecutive months during the first two years of residence;
